I love getting published on other blogs…. especially blogs from the Netherlands! I don’t understand any of it, but I’m pretty sure that this post has to do with zoo weddings….
Sally and Mike were married at St. John’s Anglican Church and held their reception at Inn on the Twenty in beautiful Jordan Village, Ontario. It’s always iffy rain-wise with spring weddings … but after weeks of dismal weather, they were blessed with a perfect spring day – clear blue skies and lots of sun. Sally and Mike are two of the most lovely, joyful, sincerest people I have ever met and their happiness is truly infectious – this wedding went by so quickly, I was having so much fun. And I literally left their reception with the hugest smile on my face. It’s moments like those where I know that I couldn’t possibly ever get sick of shooting weddings. Meeting couples like Sally and Mike who are so kind and so much in love – it’s why I love this job so much.
Sally’s stunning Reem Acra wedding gown:
“First Sees” are such a blast – and I love Mike’s reaction. It is so, so clear how in love he is with Sally.
One of my favourite shots. I did hardly anything to this photo actually…this is seriously how blue the skies were that day – just for them on their special day!
Forgot to mention – Sally and Mike rode around in a brand new Panamera Porsche all day!
And of course, the champagne was flowing…. we are in wine country after all. I really love the candidness of the shot on the left. Another favourite from the day.
Some neat shots in the wine cellars:
These were so yummy. I loved how there were these dainty, white, fragrant (and real!) flowers atop each cupcake.
The views (particularly at sunset) were breathtaking.
Dancing the night away…
Congratulations Sally and Mike!
In just a couple of weeks, Kristian and Mike will be getting married in Florida – followed by a reception here in Toronto. Kristian and Mike are a such a sweet couple with some really fun photo ideas! Here are a few of my favourites from the engagement session…
